A super simple wheelchair that keeps you safe and comfortable, designed for short journeys, the Xpedition frame is powder coated steel for strength, reliability and durability. Weight limit of up to 18 stone (114kg) and puncture-proof castor wheels/tyres for a smooth ride.
The fixed armrests feature PVC arm pads for pressure relief in your arms and elbows. The nylon upholstery is supportive and easy to clean, with a backrest pouch for your belongings. Swing away leg rests with heel straps help you to get on and off the wheelchair without too much trouble.
The backrest also has a half-folding back to make the Xpedition Transport Wheelchair even more compact. Simply push the black paddle at the rear of the chair with your thumb while pulling the handle down. The frame also folds to a width of just 20cm with a quick pull upwards on the seat, ideal for slipping into your car boot or somewhere out of the way when you don't need it.
Stepper tubes at the rear allow for safe kerb mounting with the help of an attendant, while the black steel brake keeps the wheelchair stationary when necessary.
The Xpedition Transport Wheelchair comes fully assembled - just needs the foot rests putting on. Just take it out of the packaging, pull the armrests apart and push the seat down.
