Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare Samsoft 175 Patient Lift

This electric Drive Samsoft 175 Patient Hoist / Lift is for transferring patients from one position, or location, to another.

** Please note that this is a two person hoist - it is not meant to be used by one carer alone, as when you transfer the patient, you will need one person to push and another to guide the patient in the sling.

This particular lift was only used twice and is in perfect condition - it was for my mother who passed away shortly after it was purchased.

It has a rechargeable battery powered hoist, and moves from place to place on its wheels, pushed and guided by the carers. When in use, the battery is not connected to the mains. The battery life is 8 hrs, but physios recommend leaving it plugged into the mains between usage.

The Samsoft 175 is fully electric, and as well as electrical lifting, it has electric leg opening - which means, that you can adjust the width between the wheels at the front and back of the legs/base, to adapt to various situations.

With this lift, you can transfer individuals in and out of beds, chairs, and the toilet or commode. The lift has four high-quality 75mm castors, with brakes on the rear castors - they really do glide very smoothly.

The bar for attaching the slings is a standard design.
