Vevor Drop Arm Transport Shower Commode Chair

This is a great multifunctional transport, commode and shower chair.

It was only used twice, as sadly my mother bought it and then suddenly fell ill, and subsequently passed away. I was her carer and can guarantee that it was only used twice to transport her to another room - it has never been used as a commode, or as a shower chair, and it is in immaculate condition as a result.

You can use this chair as -

1)A simple transport chair
2)A bedside commode or any other location you would like to have a portable commode
3)A shower chair - if the user can't walk, they can be wheeled into a shower (wet room style without steps) and take their shower seated in the chair
4)A raised toilet seat over most existing toilets, helping those individuals who have trouble with mobility and stability when using the toilet

The wheels on this chair are incredibly smooth, making it very easy to push someone around the home.

****As long as your toilet bowl rim is lower than 21" you should be able to use this as a raised toilet seat over the bowl of your existing toilet. There has to be a little space between the underside of the seat and your toilet bowl, as there are two metal runners under the commode seat, into which the pale slots when you are not using it as a bedside commode.***

Main Features -

1)Drop Arms - in addition, it has drop arms which means the user can do side transfers on and off a bed or another chair - they do not have to be able to stand, if they have a transfer board they can slide over onto the seat from the side, as the armrest will fold upwards out of the way.

2)Padded Seat and Insert - the seat is padded for extra comfort, and there is a section which slides out when you use it as a commode.

3)Open Fronted Seat - when the insert in the seat is removed and the chair is being used as a commode, or a shower chair, the front of the seat is open, which allows for far greater access for the user to clean themselves, which can also give a greater sense of independence, as well as making the job easier.

4)Padded Backrest - The backrest is padded for comfort.

5)Pale - under the seat there is a commode pale which can be removed and inserted when using the chair as a commode, or when using it as a raised toilet seat over an existing toilet.

6)Foot Rests - it has height adjustable foot rests for when the user is sitting in the chair for a long time, or being wheeled around. The rests can be swung out to the side, or removed entirely if they are not wanted.

7)Adjustable Seat Height - the height of the seat is also height adjustable from 19.3" to 22.4" (42cm - 57cm).

8)Lockable Wheels - All four 5" wheels can be individually locked, and all can swivel 360°, so the chair can turn on a penny.

9)Rustproof - The Chair is entirely rustproof, so there are no worries using it in the shower.
